Why it pays
We read your bill before we quote your roof.
Most solar quotes start with roof area. Ours starts with your usage: the tariff, any demand charge, and the shape of your day. On commercial sites we fit a power logger for two weeks and design from the data. That's the difference between a payback figure and a guess.
You see the numbers before you decide. Expected savings, payback and the assumptions behind them, in writing, so you can check them yourself or hand them to your accountant.

Our own licensed crew. Grafton Library, a 99.5 kW rebuild, took two weeks on site.
- Step 05
We come back
Commercial installs include inspections at one and two years, with thermal imaging of the connections.

Real people. Proper workmanship.
“Luke and team have just fitted 18 solar panels, a 9 kW system, with a Sigenergy 16 kW battery and a 270 litre iStore heat pump. Workmanship 10/10, professional and courteous at all times. All rebates organised too. At last, no more power bills. I would highly recommend Luke and Coffs Coast Electrical for your solar install. Thanks again, Luke.”

Questions we get asked
The things owners actually ask.
How much will solar actually save?
It depends on how much power you use during the day, your tariff, the system size and how much of the solar you use on site. For a home we work from your bill and when you're home. For a business we run a two-week load study so the figure is based on real usage. Either way you see the savings and payback before you proceed.
How long until it pays for itself?
In our experience most commercial systems pay back in three to five years, faster on sites with heavy daytime load. The Grafton Library system is estimated at just over two years. Home systems vary more, and a battery changes the maths, so we show both with and without.
Can we do it with nothing upfront?
Often, yes. We work with Brighte for finance, and eligible NSW homeowners and landlords can access up to $15,000 at 0% interest. On many sites the repayment sits under the saving.
Do you handle the grid connection and rebates?
Yes. We lodge the network connection application, claim the STCs on your behalf and deduct them from the price, and handle the paperwork for any rebate you're eligible for.
Which brands do you install?
Sigenergy, Sungrow and GoodWe inverters and batteries, with Trina and Jinko panels. We're an approved installer for all three inverter brands and we keep the list short on purpose: we fit what we're happy to stand behind for the life of the system.
How far do you travel?
Up to 100 km from Bonville for residential work, which covers Woolgoolga to Nambucca and inland to Dorrigo. Up to 500 km for commercial work, so Port Macquarie to Lismore and out to Armidale.
